2. Principle

The protection of your personal data is important to us. We process personal data only in accordance with Swiss data protection law, in particular the Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP/DSG) and the Data Protection Ordinance (DPO/DSV). Where applicable in individual cases, we also comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

3. Visiting the website

When you access our website, your browser automatically transmits technical information to the server of our hosting provider. This includes the IP address, the date and time of access, the page accessed, the browser used and the operating system. This data is required to deliver the website, to ensure its security and stability and to detect misuse. It is not combined with other data and is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for this purpose.

4. Contacting us

If you contact us by telephone or e-mail, we process the information you provide, i.e. your name, contact details and the content of your enquiry, in order to respond to your request.

5. Trade-in and sale form

If you offer us your vehicle for trade-in or sale via the form, we process the following data:

Name, telephone number and e-mail address
Details of your vehicle such as make, model, first registration, mileage, vehicle inspection (MFK), condition and equipment
Your asking price and, where applicable, the car you have chosen
the photos you upload, including the vehicle registration document

The information and photos are transmitted to us by e-mail; in addition, you will receive an acknowledgement of receipt at the e-mail address provided. We use this data exclusively to assess your vehicle, to submit an offer to you and to get in touch with you. Please ensure that no persons and no unnecessary personal belongings are visible in the photos. You are welcome to cover the number plates.

We retain your information only for as long as is necessary to process your enquiry or as required by statutory retention obligations.

Test drive

If you request a test drive via our website, we process the selected car, your preferred appointment, your name, your telephone number, your e-mail address and your comments. To keep the appointment reserved for you, we store the request on our web server at Swizzonic in Switzerland. You will receive an acknowledgement of receipt and, after our review, either the appointment confirmation or a cancellation by e-mail. We use this data exclusively to carry out the test drive and for any related queries.

6. Cookies and analytics

Our website does not use cookies for analytics or advertising purposes and does not use any tracking or analytics services.

7. Google Fonts

To ensure a consistent appearance, we use fonts from Google Fonts, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. When you access a page, your browser loads the fonts from Google’s servers. In the process, your IP address is transmitted to Google; processing in the USA cannot be ruled out. 8. Vehicle inventory from AutoScout24 and links

We automatically import our current vehicle inventory from our listings on AutoScout24 (SMG Swiss Marketplace Group AG, Zürich). The vehicle photos are loaded directly from AutoScout24’s servers; in the process, your IP address and technical information about your browser are transmitted to AutoScout24. If our own retrieval is temporarily unavailable, we display the inventory via an embedded AutoScout24 widget. AutoScout24’s privacy policy applies.

Our website also contains links to Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Google Maps. This content is not embedded: only when you click on a link are you redirected to the website of the respective provider. The provider’s own privacy policy applies there.

9. Disclosure of data

We do not sell your data and do not pass it on for advertising purposes. Data is disclosed only to service providers who support us in operating the website and in communication, such as our hosting and e-mail provider, or where we are legally obliged to do so. These service providers process the data only on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions.

10. Disclosure abroad

In individual cases, personal data may be transferred to countries outside Switzerland, for example when Google Fonts is used. If data is transferred to a country without an adequate level of data protection, we ensure protection by means of appropriate safeguards, in particular the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission in the version recognised by the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC/EDÖB).

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Data transmitted via our website is encrypted (SSL/TLS).
